Measure the reel cycle

Loading, threading, running, unloading and labelling all contribute to output. A faster running speed does not automatically remove the largest bottleneck.

Protect finished reel quality

Slit edges, winding tension and reel geometry matter to the next process. Record the materials and reel specifications before comparing machines.

Plan the handling workflow

Assess where reels travel after the slitter and which tasks are manual. Laser or reel-handling options can be discussed as part of a wider process review.
