More functionality. Less manual handling.
Laser processing and end-of-line automation add capability around the finishing process. We help match the application and reel flow to an appropriate configuration.

Laser applications
Explore scoring, easy-opening features and perforation. Suitability depends on material structure, laser settings and the final packaging requirement.
Reel handling
Coordinate reel transportation, labelling, bagging and downstream handling around the production layout.
Automation planning
Map reel sizes, weights, shift volumes and operator tasks before selecting an automation package.

Create opening and perforation features
A controlled laser beam processes selected areas of a moving web without a conventional cutting blade. The training describes microperforation, macroperforation, opening lines and shaped features; the result depends on the material structure and validated settings.
Stabilise the web
A dedicated nip and tension feedback help separate the processing zone from disturbances in the incoming reel.
Position the beam
Optical elements direct and focus the beam. The application must align with the web movement and, where required, the print.
Extract and verify
Extraction removes processing fumes and particles. Inspect the finished feature and test the package function.
What we review with you
- Easy opening
- Define the opening path and intended affected layers. Verify that remaining layers still provide the required protection.
- Perforation
- Specify the purpose and pattern, then validate gas exchange or other required performance on the actual pack.
- Application trials
- A laser feature is not automatically suitable for every laminate. Confirm film structure, seal integrity and end-use performance with trials.

Understand the process
Connect finishing to a consistent reel flow
Reel-handling automation coordinates the steps after slitting. Depending on the selected scope, a line can combine weighing, identification, bagging, palletising and pallet wrapping instead of treating them as separate manual stations.
Receive and identify
Transfer the finished reel and associate it with the required production information.
Inspect and pack
Coordinate selected inspection, weighing, labelling and protection steps around the target reel flow.
Palletise and dispatch
Arrange reels for downstream logistics while maintaining their identification and production traceability.
What we review with you
- Line balance
- Assess reels per hour across the whole finishing area. A fast slitter can still wait on packing or transport.
- Layout and handling
- Provide reel dimensions, weights, movement routes, pallet patterns and available floor space.
- Business case
- Evaluate labour tasks, ergonomics, traceability and bottlenecks using your own production data. Training case-study savings are not a guaranteed return.
